The Indian Hill Foundation is proud to offer the Braves Opportunity Scholarship for the third year.  This boldly generous scholarship is conceived and funded by anonymous donors who have immense pride in the Indian Hill School District and want motivated Indian Hill students to be able to pursue their best college opportunities free from financial limitations. The scholarship is intended to cover the costs of up to four years of the postsecondary education of the annual recipient’s choice after all financial aid options from the institution and other scholarships have been calculated, covering tuition, room & board and fees. Let’s say that again. Four years of their best postsecondary option, regardless of cost.
Candidates for this scholarship are screened through the school counseling office, are registered with FASFA, are sharing their Financial Aid Award information and go through an extensive personal interview.  The awarded student must maintain a 3.0 GPA and pass annual committee review for scholarship continuation. This donor-restricted scholarship is intended to supplement an institution’s financial aid and scholarships received to make college possible for students that may have a hardship that would prevent them from continuing their education.
“This is future-focused investment in IH students. We are proud to partner with the donors to make their vision become a reality, directly impacting a student today and changing the trajectory for generations,” says Meredith Ducey, IH Foundation Executive Director.
To learn more or to add your charitable contributions to this 501 c 3 restricted fund, please contact Meredith Ducey or call 513-272-5932. The donors intend to renew this opportunity each year going forward and invite others to contribute to the fund so the opportunity may continue in perpetuity.

The Indian Hill Foundation's mission is to innovate, accelerate and enrich the learning and engagement in our classrooms and beyond and strengthen the connections between the district and the community.  The Foundation achieves its purpose by building philanthropic resources in partnership with alumni, parents, students and the community.

We have the opportunity to ask "What if?"  "What's possible?"   "What's next?" for our district and the mission to fund the answers.

How you help a program go from “pilot” to implementation…

Thanks to your support, the Foundation was able to team up with the Primary School last school year to test the training from Columbia University Reading and Writing Workshop for PS staff to enhance their literacy instruction.  Jim Nichols, PS Principal states, “After receiving such positive feedback from staff, the district has maintained this high quality professional development in the 2018-19 school year.”  You helped innovative teacher development become a regular part of the district plan by giving it a chance to be tested.  That is bold philanthropy in action.
